Verdict:

I've tried a sample of the Waterfall Serum from the Hera Aquabolic line and loved it, so I decided to try the Hera Age Way Line.  All of the products absorbed quickly into my skin and left if smooth but, everything except for the Eye Contour Cream broke me out.  I don't know if I broke out because of the perfume, or if I broke out because it was too heavy for my oily skin.  I have sensitive skin, but I love trying new skin care products. I can't help it lol! I'm constantly searching for the best products.

 I've only seen Hera products on eBay, royalbeautycosmetics.com, cosme-de.com, colorfulcircle.com, and G Market.  I still want to try Hera's Aquabolic Balancing line but I'm a little scared. The moisturizing line is for dry skin and the balancing line is for combination/oily skin. I hope this helps those of you that might have been curious about this skin care line :)

My Beauty Diary Royal Jelly Mask Review

This face mask contains Royal Jelly Extract, Arbutin, Aloe Vera and Hydrolyzed Yeast Protein for hydrating, anti-aging and brightening results. 


It helps to restore damaged skin and removes dead skin cells for softening and youthful appearance. 


Royal Jelly: efficiently nourish your skin while, simultaneously, reducing fine lines and plump your skin. 

FYI: This packet is supposed to be yellowish-beige.  I had to lighten it up because of the lighting in my room 

Directions:
Cleanse and tones face thoroughly before applying mask. Put the mask on and leave it for 20 - 30 minutes, then peel off. Gently massage the excess essence on the face and neck to assist absorption. No rinsing is necessary. Follow with your daily moisturizer.

Verdict:

I like it, just not as much as the Apple Polyphenol Mask. My skin was noticeably brighter after removing the mask. The brightening effects lasted about two days during cooler weather and about 1 day with warmer weather. If your looking for something to temporarily brighten up your face, this mask will do the job. I want to try the 2 step autumn repair snail mask. It sounds gross, but I still want to try it :)

DIY: White Fungus Facial Serum

I saw this DIY facial serum on YouTube (video here) from Queenie Chan.  This serum is supposed to be an all natural anti-aging serum. You should be able to purchase the white fungus at an Asian grocery store. Because there are no preservatives in this serum, you must use it with in a week. This serum must be stored in your refrigerator. 

What you will need:

White fungus 1 piece or more (depends on how much you want to make).

Bottle (preferably one with a dropper)

Bowl

Pot

Strainer basket

Water

Scissors

Stove

Refrigerator

White Fungus (a.k.a snow fungus,silver fungus )

 Step 1: Soak the fungus in a bowl of warm water with the yellow base facing up for 10 minutes. Squeeze the fungus a few times to help get rid of the impurities and change out the water if needed.

Step 2: Trim the "petals" of  the fungus off and keep middle part for future use.

The middle part can be used as a facial and body scrub. It's very soft! You can reuse it for up to a week. Keep it in your refrigerator. 

Step 3: Put the white fungus in a pot of boiling water and let it simmer on low heat for for 60-90 minutes.

When it's done, the water should now be in a gooey gel like form. This is the serum.

Step 4 :  Use a strainer to take out the chunks of white fungus and transfer the liquid to a bowl and let it cool.  

Step 5: Fill your bottle up with the serum. Store it in your refrigerator. 

You can eat the white fungus or you can use the rest of your liquid serum on pre-cut paper facial masks. I tried eating some of it and did not like it. It's a texture thing :) 

Fangirl Moment :) BigBang is back!!!! It's nice to see all 5 of them together again. I pre-orderd the BigBang version of their CD on Feb 17th.  YG made 6 versions of their CD, which made it hard for fans to choose which one they wanted. I think some fans bought all 6! Lancome Genifique vs L'oreal Youth Code

I've always looked younger than my actual age. I'll be 25 this year, so I'm constantly looking for new products to preserve my 17-19 year old face :P  I have a grandma that's in her 80's from Dominica, and she hardly has any wrinkles!

I tried a sample of the Lancome Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate awhile a ago and loved it. The price is what's keeping me from purchasing it. On the website (english version), it said that the Royal Jelly mask can efficiently nourish your skin while, simultaneously, reducing fine lines and plump your skin.  It can provide your skin with brightness, smoothness, etc.  When it's translated from Chinese it says that it has whitening properties (I'm not sure if Google Translate is accurate or not. It showed me a translated version after I reviewed my order).

I'm a little worried because it said nothing about whitening the skin in English. If I would have known that, I wouldn't have purchased it. It's too late to change my order now. There are different description of what this mask does on different websites. Hopefully, this will just brighten up my complexion and keep me brown^^
