Hera Zeal Soap Review

Hello everyone! Today I'm doing a review on Hera's Zeal perfumed soap. I noticed that a lot of people have been searching for a review on this soap, so here you go :)

Description:

  • Soft floral fragrance, with a seductive musk scent.
  • Formulated with rose extract, natural moisture ingredients
  • Pure vegetable substance based, rich foam, mild texture
  • For all skin types
  • Made in Korea

Instructions:
  • Moisten top of soap with water.
  • Apply over face with gentle massaging motions, avoiding the eye area.
  • Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

Review:

You can use this soap on your face or on your body. I didn't use it on my face because of all of the perfume. My face is doing great right now, and I didn't want to take any chances. It says that it's for all skin types. If you have problems with fragrances, I suggest that you shouldn't use it.

The scent of this soap is very strong. It smells like a floral scent that an older lady would wear :) After washing with it, I find that the smell is not as strong. It leaves a light floral fragrance on my skin that lasts for hours. This soap lathers and gives me a squeaky clean feeling. It doesn't make my skin feel really dry, but then it doesn't make my skin feel really moisturized either.

You can by one for $4.99 with free shipping on eBay or you can bid on some. You can also check Amazon or Gmarket. I got mine on eBay a long time ago^^ Hope this review helps some of you!

What it looks like :)

Before

After

★ Scent? Light

★ Feel on Skin? Lightweight. It goes on smoothly.

★ Skin Type? All skin types

Verdict:

This is my first BB Cream ever! I was very excited to try L'OrĂ©al's Magic BB Cream, because it said that it self-adjusts to your skin tone. Cool right? Well...I wore it a few times and did not like it. This BB cream made my face an ashy gray color. It didn't perfect any flaws or correct my skin tone. It did however make my skin texture smooth, felt hydrating, and it didn't break me out.

Disclaimer:  I received this product complimentary from SheSpeaks/L'OrĂ©al in order to provide an evaluation. Opinions are my own.

Biore Acne Mild Care Oil Control Foam Cleanser Review

Biore New Acne Mild Care Oil Control consists of the TRICILOSAN formula which is bacteria-resistant and effective in treating the problematic acne on your face, preventing them from re-appearing. It can form high-density foam which can best perform its function as a cleanser to rinse off all the unwanted oil, dirt, grease on your face, leaving your skin with purified and bright condition.

★ Scent? Light

★ Consistency? Thick foam

★ Skin Type? All skin types

★ Feel on skin? Gentle. There's no tugging on my face

★ Oil Control? Not really

★ Price? $5.80

★ Repurchase? Yes

Verdict:

I really like this foam cleanser. I purchased it at sasa.com awhile back. No allergic reactions!!!!  I use it in the morning and at night, and it doesn't leave my face feeling tight and dry.  I think that this cleanser is great for acne. I've had only one pimple pop up this month.

It doesn't really do anything for controlling oil. I wash my face around 7 a.m., and my face is oily by the time it's 9 or 10 a.m. Even though it doesn't control my oil, I still think this cleanser is great because of  it's ability to control acne. I should have purchased more than one because it is currently out of stock. I have finally found a great cleanser, and it's out of stock (T_T)  I hope they bring it back.

 * the cleanser has changed 8/6/13*

Torani Syrup Review

Hello everyone!! This is another sponsored review for SheSpeaks and Torani. I was sent two 25.4 oz bottles of syrup and five$1 off coupons. This time, I received Peppermint and Salted Caramel. I am very pleased with these flavors. I recently ran out of my Torani Vanilla flavored syrup, so these came just in time!

About Torani:

"Since 1925, family-owned Torani has been crafting great tasting flavored syrups that coffeehouses use to make their flavored drinks taste so delicious. With over 120 flavors in regular and sugar free varieties, Torani flavored syrups are perfect for flavored lattes, mochas, coffees, cocoas, Italian sodas, teas, lemonades, cocktails and smoothies. Coffeehouse professionals choose Torani flavors because they are expertly crafted and made with the highest quality ingredients, like natural flavors and pure cane sugar. The sugar free flavors have no calories and are sweetened with Splenda. Now, Torani Flavored Syrups are widely available at retail so you can easily create authentic coffeehouse quality drinks at home."

Torani Peppermint Syrup

With the cool taste and refreshing fragrance of freshly-picked mint, this flavor is an invigorating addition to any beverage. Just add 1 oz. of this classic to mochas, hot chocolate, and blended drinks.

Sugar Cookies with Peppermint Flavored Icing
My sister made homemade sugar cookies and icing. She added Torani Peppermint Syrup to the icing, and she topped the cookies with peppermints.

Torani Salted Caramel Syrup

The richness of buttery caramel is brought to new heights with a pinch of salt in this delectable syrup made especially for iced coffee drinks. Add 1 oz. to brewed or iced coffees, espresso, steamed milk, and more.

BzzAgent Review: Bic Soleil Savvy Razor

BIC(R) Soleil(R) Savvy(TM)

Enter Bic Soleil Savvy- an innovative razor that combines the convenience and priced-to-please savings of a disposable with the premium shave performance of a refillable cartridge system. In short, this shaving experience feels savvier with each stroke. Flexible blade technology and a pivoting head provide a flawlessly smooth shave.

  • Each BIC Soleil Savvy package contains one disposable handle and four refillable cartridges.
  • The razor's handle includes a rubber grip for added control
  • Triple-blade heads features flexible blade technology and  lubricating strips with Vitamin E
  • Pivoting heads are made to follow a woman's contours and provides a super-close shave
  • Available at grocery stores, drugstores, and mass retailers ( like Walmart) for a suggested retail price of $7.49

I received this razor from BzzAgent as part of their BIC Soleil Savvy Razor Campaign.  I received 1 razor and coupons. After using it for a month, the only thing that I liked about it was the handle. This disposable razor has a wide handle and I was able to use it with ease. I didn't have to worry about it slipping out of my hands. The reason why I will not be purchasing this razor is because it didn't give me a close enough shave, and the moisture strips did absolutely nothing.

BzzAgent Review: Smooth 'N Shine Semi-Permanent Hair Tamer

Hello everyone!  Today I'm doing a BzzAgent review on Smooth 'N Shines's Keratin Power Semi-Permanent Hair Tamer. My BzzKit contained 1 box of the hair tamer and coupons.  This hair tamer is available in Regular (for fine to average hair) and Super (for average to coarse hair). I chose the hair tamer in Super because my hair is coarse.  My hair is relaxed, so this is a review on how this product worked on my relaxed hair. * This product is not a hair straightener (relaxer) it is a hair tamer.

Front of box

A gentler, more manageable approach to taming your curls and frizz than relaxing. Keratin 4 + Aloe breakthrough chemistry offers lasting versatility, giving you the KERATIN POWER to choose whether you want to wear hair styled straight or "wash & go" manageable curls after one use! Transforms hair with up to 5X less damage than relaxers and *lasts up to 6 weeks on treated growth (or 5 washes)! This treatment is a gentle, semi-permanent taming product that won't damage hair structure by breaking hair bonds the way other permanent chemical treatments do, and will have a gradual and cumulative effect the more you use it! Great for root touch ups (not a root straightener) or taming in between relaxer use.

Back of box

It came with 1 protein Smoothing Treatment, 1 Neutralizing Milk, and 1 Olive and Tea Tree Nourishing Deep Recovery Conditioner.

Step 1: Protein Smoothing Treatment, with breakthrough chemistry of keratin 4 + aloe that smooths and tames the hair while making styling more manageable and versatile!

Step 2: Neutralizing Milk, contains active sealers to complete and preserve the semi-permanent taming effect of treated hair for up to 6 weeks ( or 5 washes)!

Protein Smoothing Treatment

Neutralizing Milk

Smooth 'N Shine Olive and Tea Tree Nourishing Deep Conditioner

I used the deep conditioner after I finished step 1 and step 2. It says to leave it on for 1 minute, but I  put on a shower cap and left in on for 10 minutes.

Before and After

*My camera was acting weird the day I took my before photo, so that's why my hair is showing up yellow.

My before photo is a picture of my hair before I used the product. My ends are frizzy. I didn't flat iron my hair. The after photo is a picture of my hair after I used the product and flat ironed my hair.

Review:

My hair is currently past my shoulders. I get my hair relaxed every 3-4 months with a relaxer from Dr. Miracle's. My mom is the one that does my relaxers.  I had my last relaxer in April. I only flat iron my hair 1-2 times a month, & I either wear my hair straight, curly, or I have it in braids. I wanted to try this hair tamer because it claimed that it tames frizz. My hair has been very frizzy lately due to the heat wave that my state and other states are experiencing.

I like the fact that there are only two steps. No mixing required! After using this product, I saw that my hair was less frizzy after it dried. My hair usually looks like a lion's mane after I wash, condition, and dry it :) The hair tamer was very easy to use, and I applied it myself. I was concerned that my hair would feel brittle after using it, but that was not the case. My hair felt healthy and it looked shinier. My hair felt stiff while I was washing out the Protein Smoothing Treatment, but it turned back soft when I used the Neutralizing Milk.  The thing that bothered me about this hair tamer was the smell. The smell is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!! The Protein Smoothing Treatment smelled like rotten eggs. I'm very sensitive to strong smells and this smell was overwhelming. Overall, I think that this hair tamer is ok. It states that you'll get better results the more you use it. I'm not sure that I would use this product again because of the smell.

The suggested retail price of this product is $8.99. You can purchase it at Walgreens, drugstore.com, Sally Beauty Supply and other stores nationwide.  You can visit smoothnshine.com, where famous stylist and spokesperson for the Smooth N' Shine brand, Larry Sims, will personally show you how to tame curls and frizz at home with ease with a step-by-step instructional video on how the use Smooth 'N Shine Keratin Power Semi-Permanent Hair Tamer. Thanks for reading and have a great day!!

Have you tried this hair tamer? Did you like it?
