Mini life update and skin care/hair care haul

Hello everyone! I hope that you all are doing well! I moved to a different house, so I haven't been blogging lately. You don't realize how much stuff you have until you move!!  July-August I was moving and in August I was unpacking and redecorating.  It was so hard to write blog posts because I was going back and forth between homes. My internet and computer was at the new home. I had to rush with my BzzAgent and Influenster reviews because it  had to be submitted by a certain date, and I wanted to do my giveaway quickly before I forgot. Everything is finally back to normal now and I can finally relax!

I washed walls on my birthday (July 18) instead of relaxing. Fun, fun, fun :P I'm 25 years old!! My sibling make fun of me and say that I'm 5 years away from being old. I don't care. I'll still look young no matter what age! My birthday gifts to myself was a daybed frame, a nice pillowtop mattress, and a new computer desk. I just realized that I never wrote a birthday post. I was planning on writing one in July but that never happened lol.  I took photos of my cake though.

I still need curtains for my room. The sun rises on the side that my room is on. It's like the sun smacks me on my face everyday and says GOOD MORNING lol! Other than that, I'm enjoying the house.  I'm happy because I get to see cute bunny rabbits in the backyard. My other house had different animals that would try to live under the shed, so the rabbits left my area. Animals love to move in where I live. I tell them that my house is not Noah's ark lol! Maybe I should try to turn them into my animal minions MUHAHAHA....

 The Aussie 3 Minute Miracle deep conditioner is wonderful. It makes my hair soft. 

I LOVE the Wave Nouveau Finishing Mist. I've seen reviews on YouTube and I wanted to try it out. It leaves my hair really soft and manageable. It tames my new growth! I'm planning on stretching my relaxer till October. I'll be six months post.  This product has helped a lot especially after I wash my hair!! I need to always have this in stock. This finishing mist is also sold at Sally's Beauty Supply.  I looked online and they have a bigger bottle. 

I've only seen the Happy Me skin care products on drugstore.com I bought the moisturizer because I liked the fact that it's for acne plus, it has SPF in it. It has a strong herbal scent but it goes away.

I kid you not, everytime GD comes back haters lose their minds!! If you don't like him then don't watch or listen to his music. It's simple. I read some of the comments and went into “Fan Mama Mode”.  I wanted to log onto my other YouTube account and tell people off, but I didn’t do it lol. It would be pointless.

I received this razor from BzzAgent as part of their BIC Soleil Savvy Razor Campaign.  I received 1 razor and coupons. After using it for a month, the only thing that I liked about it was the handle. This disposable razor has a wide handle and I was able to use it with ease. I didn't have to worry about it slipping out of my hands. The reason why I will not be purchasing this razor is because it didn't give me a close enough shave, and the moisture strips did absolutely nothing.

BzzAgent Review: Smooth 'N Shine Semi-Permanent Hair Tamer

Hello everyone!  Today I'm doing a BzzAgent review on Smooth 'N Shines's Keratin Power Semi-Permanent Hair Tamer. My BzzKit contained 1 box of the hair tamer and coupons.  This hair tamer is available in Regular (for fine to average hair) and Super (for average to coarse hair). I chose the hair tamer in Super because my hair is coarse.  My hair is relaxed, so this is a review on how this product worked on my relaxed hair. * This product is not a hair straightener (relaxer) it is a hair tamer.

A gentler, more manageable approach to taming your curls and frizz than relaxing. Keratin 4 + Aloe breakthrough chemistry offers lasting versatility, giving you the KERATIN POWER to choose whether you want to wear hair styled straight or "wash & go" manageable curls after one use! Transforms hair with up to 5X less damage than relaxers and *lasts up to 6 weeks on treated growth (or 5 washes)! I used the deep conditioner after I finished step 1 and step 2. It says to leave it on for 1 minute, but I  put on a shower cap and left in on for 10 minutes.

*My camera was acting weird the day I took my before photo, so that's why my hair is showing up yellow.   

 My before photo is a picture of my hair before I used the product. My ends are frizzy. I didn't flat iron my hair. The after photo is a picture of my hair after I used the product and flat ironed my hair.

Review:

My hair is currently past my shoulders. I get my hair relaxed every 3-4 months with a relaxer from Dr. Miracle's. My mom is the one that does my relaxers.  I had my last relaxer in April. I only flat iron my hair 1-2 times a month, & I either wear my hair straight, curly, or I have it in braids. I wanted to try this hair tamer because it claimed that it tames frizz. My hair has been very frizzy lately due to the heat wave that my state and other states are experiencing. 


I like the fact that there are only two steps. No mixing required! After using this product, I saw that my hair was less frizzy after it dried. My hair usually looks like a lion's mane after I wash, condition, and dry it :) The hair tamer was very easy to use, and I applied it myself. I was concerned that my hair would feel brittle after using it, but that was not the case. My hair felt healthy and it looked shinier. My hair felt stiff while I was washing out the Protein Smoothing Treatment, but it turned back soft when I used the Neutralizing Milk.  The thing that bothered me about this hair tamer was the smell. The smell is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!! The Protein Smoothing Treatment smelled like rotten eggs. I'm very sensitive to strong smells and this smell was overwhelming. Overall, I think that this hair tamer is ok. It states that you'll get better results the more you use it. I'm not sure that I would use this product again because of the smell.
